1.2 Neighborhood and Property Data

  • Property Details: Street address, unit number, lot number.
  • Neighborhood Data: Neighborhood name, address, timezone, and governance rules.

  • Requests: Titles, descriptions, categories (e.g., Fence, Paint), dates, and attachments (PDFs, images) related to architectural modifications.
  • Interactions: Comments, votes cast by board members, and audit logs of actions taken within the platform.
  • Analytics: We use Google Tag Manager and Facebook Pixel to track page views and usage patterns to improve user experience.

1.4 Technical Data

  • IP address, browser type, device information, and operating system collected via server logs and analytics tools.

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • Service Delivery: To facilitate the submission, review, and approval of architectural requests.
  • Communication: To send email notifications regarding request status updates, new comments, invitations, and system announcements.
  • Waitlist: To manage signups for early access via Google Cloud Firestore.
  • Security: To verify identity, prevent fraud, and maintain audit logs of neighborhood activities.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Neighborhood Boards: Content you submit (requests, comments, property info) is visible to the designated Chairpersons, Board Members, and Administrators of your specific neighborhood association.
  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party vendors to operate our infrastructure:
    • Auth0: Identity and access management.
    • AWS / Google Cloud: Secure storage for file attachments.
    • AWS / Google Cloud: Database services.
    • Email Providers: For sending transactional emails.
  • Legal Compliance: If required by law, subpoena, or legal process.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data and architectural records (requests, votes, logs) as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by your neighborhood association's record-keeping by-laws.

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
